Roger Patterson from BIBBA will present ‘A New Approach to Beekeeping using ‘support’ and ‘production’ colonies

Margaret Johnson will talk to us about cooking with honey

BBKA Spring Convention, Stoneleigh

A good opportunity to buy equipment at bargain prices and to attend lectures.

'Queen Rearing'

Brian Clarke will talk to us about queen rearing before our practical session in July

GBKA Open Day and Auction

A chance to bid for equipment and to meet other beekeepers

 

 

 

Sunday 17th May

Apiary Visit – Hook Norton  

Our first apiary visit of the year will be at Hook Norton and is hosted by Mike & Gillian Rose with Michael hunt as demonstrator. This will be followed by tea. RAFFLE

 

 

Sunday 7th June  

Apiary Visit – Donnington

Gordon Bull will host this apiary visit and our demonstrator will be Norman Roper This will be followed by tea.

 

 

Saturday 4th July
Apiary Visit - Adlestrop
Martin & Julia Edwards will host this talk/visit to concentrate on queen rearing. Our demonstrator will be Brian Clarke. This may be an all dayv event with lunch available

Visit to Bridewell Organic Gardens

We are kindly invited by Ian Gourlay to visit the gardens and apiary at Bridewell

Branch Honey Show
Our honey show is incorporated with the Bourton Vale Horticultural Society Autumn Show. Enter your honey, wax products, labels etc. We hope to see everyone challenging for trophies.
 
 
Sunday 13th September
Apiary Visit – Broadwell
William & Dilys Neill will host our last apiary visit of the season and our demonstrator will be Bran Clarke. This will be followed by tea. RAFFLE

NCBKA AGM
Please hand in nominations for officers to the secretary before the meeting. Business will be followed by cheese and wine

Come along and play skittles with Cheltenham & Gloucester Beekeepers at The Farmers Arms, Guiting Power at 7.30pm. Supper is available. RAFFLE
